The Taste of Italy with a Touch of Wellness!
Want it healthier? Use whole wheat pasta. Want it purer? Use Tabletop Crystal Salt. It’s natural, organic and the purest form of salt. No additives, no nonsense; just clean, mineral-rich salt for clean eating.
Ingredients (Serves 2–3):
- 2 cups pasta (any type, or even macaroni)
• ½ cup fresh coriander (instead of basil)
• ¼ cup peanuts or cashews (instead of pine nuts)
• 3 tbsp oil (olive oil or regular cooking oil)
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1 green chili (optional, for spice)
• 2 tbsp grated cheese (processed or paneer, instead of parmesan)
• Tabletop Crystal Salt to taste
• 1 tsp black pepper powder
• ½ tsp lemon juice
Crystal salt contains less sodium than regular table salt, making it a heart-friendly choice. It’s iodised, so you still get your daily iodine without the downsides of overly processed vacuum-evaporated salt. Unlike fine powdered salt, crystal salt retains natural minerals and adds a crunchy texture to food when sprinkled raw. That coarse feel? That’s flavour and health in one go.
Bonus tip: You can toss a few crystals in your bath for a detox soak. New texture and new experience with same health boost.
Method:
Step 4:
Add the boiled pasta and toss thoroughly until coated with the sauce. Use a light hand, so the pasta stays firm. Whole wheat or multigrain pasta works great here for added fibre.
Bonus Health Point: Lemon boosts iron absorption from leafy greens!
